A few days ago I finished hiking Bohusleden which I had started last year in 2022. I section hiked the trail and this final section lasted 4 days covering 140 kilometers/86 miles on well marked trails in forest and on granite. I had some snow/rain the first day but then it cleared up with sunny days. Nights were at or a few degrees below freezing so I am glad I brought my Rab Neutrino 600, comfort rated to -5°C/23°F. I got to see Bohuslän´s highest waterfall Älgafallet and Blomsholm, an ancient stone ship (very impressive and well worth the 5 minute detour).
Bohusleden is a lowland trek spanning 370 kilometers/229 miles comprised of 27 sections starting in Lindome, south of Gothenburg heading north and ending in the coastal town of Strömstad. For sleeping, there are quite a lot of "vindskydd" which is low wooden hut with one side open often equipped with a fire place in front and an outhouse close by. You can also put up a tent pretty much wherever as long as you are not parked in someone's backyard. Most sections can be reached by bus and then a fairly short hike to start, however the last 5 or so sections reaching Strömstad do not have easy trailhead access so those are best done in one go or if you can get someone to drop you off/pick you up.
Check out this website for more details on this wonderful trek, complete with an interactive trailmap and section descriptions.
